Civil Litigation

Cameron Clarke specialises in a number of specific areas of law which include;

  • Public Law - This broad term covers decision making by the Home Office, local government and other organisations. These decisions are normally, but not always, challenged by way of judicial review.

  • Human Rights - The European Human Rights legislation (of which the United Kingdom is a full member of EU), now incorporated by the Human Rights Act 1998.

  • Confiscation Orders - We advise and deal with orders made or sought by the Crown under the Drug Trafficking Act now incorporated into Proceeds of Crime Act 2002. These relate to both convicted defendants as well as their immediate families and dependants.

  • Prison Law - An area which comes under the umbrella of Public Law.
